André Cieplinski is a Senior Researcher at ICCT Brazil. André leads research projects on climate and transportation policy, with a focus on the deployment of zero-emission vehicles, including EV corporate strategies, electric buses, and charging infrastructure. Prior to joining the ICCT, André was a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Pisa (Italy), where he developed ecological macroeconomics and energy market simulation models. He holds a PhD in Economics from the joint program of the Universities of Siena, Pisa and Florence (Italy), an M.A. from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and a B.A. from the University of São Paulo (Brazil).
